Welcome to our idyllic log cabin « Luonto », which is found at the Ivalojoki, the Ivalo river. The log cabin is surrounded by trees, lichens und mosses and with its traditional way of building, it fits perfectly in the breathtaking nature of the north. At the same time the log cabin provides all amenities that are used to allow you to comfortably escape from everyday life and recharge your batteries. Our log cabin offers space for 2 people. Furnishings
Nature
You'll enjoy the peace and quiet all to yourself. The log cabin is located in the forest, with direct access to the river.
Bathroom
Modern bathroom with walk-in shower, toilet, and sink. Hot and cold running water, including soap, toilet paper, bath towels, and a hairdryer.
Aurora view
Your bed is located on a small gallery with a large skylight through which you can observe the Northern Lights. Bed linen included.
Sauna
Finnish wood-fired sauna with a large relaxation area and panoramic windows, ideal for observing nature and wildlife. Bathrobes and towels included.
Kitchen
Open-plan, modern kitchen with steamer and induction cooktop, including salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, dishwashing utensils, towels, and coffee maker.
Heating & fire pit
The entire log cabin has underfloor heating. Outside, there's a fire pit and an electric grill. One logs are provided, and additional firewood can be purchased at a reasonable price.
Living/Dinnerroom
A cozy sofa is perfect for reading or relaxing in front of the fireplace. A dining area with a bench and chairs is also available.
W-Lan
A good internet connection is included and available. For data usage outside of the venue, we can arrange a prepaid card upon request.

Our log cabin is located about 12 minutes by car from the center of Ivalo, which is located about 300 kilometers above the arctic circle. Ivalo has the northernmost airport in finland and is served by various destinations. The journey time from the airport to our log cabin is about 30 minutes. In the center of Ivalo, you can find everything your heart desires. In addition to pubs, supermarkets, cafes and a souvenir shop, there is even a cinema.
Ivalo has a very limited public transportation network, and our location isn't accessible by public transportation. We therefore strongly recommend arranging a rental car or contacting us directly.

Summer Special! From May 1st, 2026 to August 31st, 2026
During this period, you can enjoy our log cabin "Luonto" at the special price of only €120 per night including VAT. We will be working on the interior of our second cabin, "Lehti," and will therefore be on-site occasionally. You may experience some minor noises – of course, we will do our utmost to respect your privacy and ensure your stay is as peaceful and relaxing as possible.
An ideal opportunity to enjoy nature at an attractive price and get a glimpse behind the scenes of our new project.

Prices are per night, including VAT.
Minimum stay: 4 nights
Included: Personal check-in and check-out at the log cabin, outdoor sauna, electric grill, snowshoes, Equipment for icefishing, Wi-Fi, bed linens and towels, and final cleaning.
Price adjustment: from December 2026, prices will be increased by €20 per night due to rising costs.

tip: The Norther Lights season begins at the end of August and lasts until April. The rest of the time, we enjoy 24 hours of daylight.
