Welcome to our idyllic log cabins, "Luonto" and "Lehti," situated by the Ivalojoki River. Surrounded by fragrant trees, lichen, and moss, their traditional design allows them to blend perfectly into the breathtaking northern landscape. At the same time, both cabins offer all the amenities you need to comfortably escape daily life and recharge your energy.
Our concept accommodates up to four guests across the two cabins. We aim to appeal to groups of friends, couples, and families who wish to visit our oasis together while also enjoying moments of solitude. Each cabin is designed for two people.
If you book for 1 or 2 people, you will stay in "Luonto," while "Lehti" remains closed to other guests. This ensures complete privacy, giving you exclusive use of the entire property.
If you book for 3 or 4 people, you can split up between the two cabins. "Lehti", styled like a hotel room, features a private bathroom and two beds but no kitchen; the kitchen in the main cabin, "Luonto," is designed to serve up to four people and is available for shared use.

Your bed (160cm) is located on a small gallery with a large skylight through which you can observe the northern lights. Bed linen included.
Kitchen
Open-plan, modern kitchen with steamer and induction cooktop, including salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, dishwashing utensils, towels, and coffee maker. (compatible with nespresso, starbucks, dolce gusto, powder)
Living/Dinnerroom
A cozy sofa perfect for reading or relaxing in front of the fireplace. Dining area with a bench and chairs. The entire log cabin features underfloor heating and a wood burning stove in the living room.
Bathroom
Modern bathroom with walk in shower, toilet, and sink. Hot and cold running water, including soap, toilet paper, bath towels, and a hairdryer. The bathroom is equipped with underfloor heating.

Night dream
Your bed has two 80 cm mattresses and is set up as a double bed. Upon request, the two mattresses can be separated. Bed linen is included.
Snackbar
Small counter for coffee and tea, as well as space for snacks. A small refrigerator is also on-site.
Living room
Two comfortable armchairs for reading and relaxing in front of the wood burning stove.
The living and sleeping area features electric heaters and a wood burning stove.
Bathroom
Modern bathroom with a walk in shower, toilet, and sink. Includes hot and cold running water, soap, toilet paper, bath towels, and a hairdryer. The bathroom is equipped with underfloor heating.
Shared use
Nature
You enjoy the peace and quiet all to yourselves. The log cabins are located in the forest, with direct access to the river.
Sauna
Finnish wood burning sauna featuring a spacious relaxation area and a panoramic window front. Ideal for observing nature and wildlife. Bathrobes and towels included.
Fire place & electric grill
There is a fire pit and an electric grill outside. One supply of firewood is provided per cabin; additional firewood can be purchased at a low price.
Wi-fi
A good internet connection is included and available. We can arrange a prepaid card upon request for mobile data use outside the premises.

Our log cabin is located about 12 minutes by car from the center of Ivalo, which is located about 300 kilometers above the arctic circle. Ivalo has the northernmost airport in finland and is served by various destinations. The journey time from the airport to our log cabin is about 30 minutes. In the center of Ivalo, you can find everything your heart desires. In addition to pubs, supermarkets, cafes and a souvenir shop, there is even a cinema.
Ivalo has a very limited public transportation network, and our location isn't accessible by public transportation. We therefore strongly recommend arranging a rental car or contacting us directly.

Tip: The northern light season begins at the end of August and lasts until April. The rest of the time, we enjoy 24 hours of daylight.
